TRIATHLON TRAINING PROGRAM

Let Redlands Tri Club help you compete in your first triathlon with their 9 week Triathlon Training Program! The program is being run by Dr. Michael Donia, the President of the Redlands Tri Club. Their first meeting is Thursday February 21st at 6:30pm at Cyclery USA’s Redlands Store. Week 1 (starting 2/25) – More detailed training plan talk

Week 2 (starting 3/4) – Injury prevention talk

Week 3 (starting 3/11) – Swim, bike and run technique

Week 4 (starting 3/18) – Bike maintenance clinic

Week 5 (starting 3/25) – Nutrition

Week 6 (starting 4/1) – Transition Clinic

Week 7 (starting 4/8) – Proper pacing

Week 8 (starting 4/15) – Tapering

Week 9 (starting 4/22) – Race strategy
