Loma Linda Youth Baseball & Softball (LLYBS) is proud to be able to organize a Champions league for the first time this year! It is our goal to provide an environment that enhances the participants’ self-esteem, physical mobility, and embodies the spirit of teamwork and community.

Champion Division General Information
Who can participate? – Anyone between the ages of 4 and 23 years old, or who remain in a school setting, with special needs, that would prevent them from playing in a traditional baseball or softball program.
Who will coach my child? – The “Buddy” system will be allowed and encouraged in all levels of play. These buddies will assist their player to catch, field, and throw; and as necessary, get around the bases. These buddies can be traditional participants of baseball and softball, family or community members.
Do they play traditional baseball rules? – The emphasis will be placed on participation and fun. There will be no outs, and everyone will bat in every inning.
How much will this cost our family? – LLYBS is grateful for the donations from the Loma Linda Possibilities program, as well as other sponsors, who have committed to fundraise to offset all costs for Champions families.
Will my child get a uniform? Do I need to purchase equipment? – Our goal is to provide every participant with a jersey and hat. Baseball pants and cleats are optional. If your child does not have a glove or helmet, the league will supply equipment during games.
When do games start? – Opening Day is March 13, with games set to begin soon afterward.
