Local Transportation Resources

The Inland Empire has two major transit agencies: Omnitrans in San Bernardino County and Riverside Transit Agency in Riverside County.

Access Service – San Bernardino County

Access is a service designed to provide equal access to public transportation for persons who are physically or cognitively unable to use regular bus service. Access provides curb-to-curb service to complement the Omnitrans fixed-route bus system. Access is available to pick up ADA certified residents within the city limits of the 15 cities that comprise the Omnitrans service area for a $5.00 surcharge. Service is available Monday through Friday from 9 am to 8 pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 7 am to 7 pm. To apply for ADA Certification you can download an ADA Certification application from the Omnitrans website or request an ADA application package by calling (909) 379-7100.

Dial-A-Ride Riverside Transit Authority

In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Riverside Transit Agency provides ADA Dial-A-Ride service to anyone with a disability who cannot use the fixed route bus system some or all of the time. RTA provides Dial-A-Ride service within ¾ mile of a regular RTA fixed bus route. It is strongly encouraged that you verify that your home is within the Dial-A-Ride service area before applying for service.
